Celebrating 20 years of sustainable and historical achievements by Heathrow Express through 9x 6 metre long posters.
Over the last 20 years, the Heathrow Express has dramatically reduced waste from its operations... can we use the waste that’s left over to tell our story?
The answer? Taking the waste that’s left onboard the trains and up-cycling it to create a series of inspiring, celebratory messages.
We commissioned award winning sculptor, Rebecca Sutherland, to help bring this vision to life.
Discarded paper tickets, bottles and caps, coffee cups, old newspapers or fizzy drink cans were recycled into sculptures and paper art.
Overwhelming success saw the posters expanding from Terminal 2 only to Terminals 3 and 5; and extending from a 9 month stay to a 3 year takeover.
